Hello All!

Welcome back for the 2018-2019 school year! We started it off with the raising of our new flag, the pledge and prayer, then cheered for Madonna and sent off blue and white balloons into the sky. It was a great start to the year. Now we are into the business of teaching and learning.

A few reminders:

* Celebration is fast approaching. It is a week from this     Saturday on August 25th.  You should have received your two raffle tickets to buy or sell to others.

* If you have not returned your completed registration packets, please do so as soon as possible. We

would like to have them all in by the first of next week.

*Students will need to continue to bring their own lunches up to and including August 21. Arby’s is  Wednesday, August 22, and we will have hot lunches starting Thursday, August 23rd.

*When picking your children up after school-if you are planning on leaving your car and coming in to the building, please park in a parking space. If you are planning on staying in your vehicle, feel free to pull up along the curb in the que.

*If students are in attendance from 7:30-8:00 in the morning and/or 3:30-4:00 after school, there is a cost of $5.00 for each. Anytime after 4:00 is an additional charge.

*Students may wear knee length shorts (Khaki, black or navy) and appropriate sandals (no flip flops) through September. Collared shirts in white, Madonna (royal) blue, black or gray must be worn each day.

*THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, FOR TEACHER INSERVICE OR SEPTEMBER 3 FOR  THE LABOR DAY HOLIDAY.

*Madonna Day (our Founder’s Day) if September 24th. Activities to be determined.

*FOOTBALL PRACTICE starts next week on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3:15-4:00. We ask that rides arrive  for prompt 4:00 pick up.

*Mount Michael Special Olympics Football Tournament is Sunday September 16. The carnival is also a fun time for the family.

*Special Olympics State Tournament will be in York, Nebraska on October 27 and 28. If you are going

you might want to plan ahead for rooms.

*ANGEL FARE is Wednesday, October 24.

There is always so much going on at the beginning of the school year. I hope this is somewhat helpful for you to plan ahead. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office. Rachel, Leah or I will do all we are able to assist you.

I hope you all have a wonderful school year.

God Bless,
